Bertie Marshall

Bertie Marshall

Thursday

Bertie Marshall is often read, but this fall he will be heard too. The punk memoirist is perhaps most famous for his 2006 book ‘Berlin Broomley’, which details his journey from depressed teenager Bertie to punk icon Berlin, playing alongside Siouxsie Sioux and Billy Idol. But this year, he made his debut in solo recording, with ‘Exhibit’. The album, courtesy of Upset The Rhythm, introduces the world to the artist’s commanding and truthful voice.
